See the results of realtime translation/captioning

To see a sample of some of the transcripts we have produced and maybe even learn some interesting things that are going on in the computer industry, look under Archives at Sunergy.

The Sun Microsystems Sunergy broadcasts boast an audience of over 100,000 people via satellite broadcast, (with closed captioning provided by RTR), the MBone, (which includes ASCII text provided by RTR), the Web, and live audience participation as well as participation via e-mail, fax and telephone during the broadcast. Sunergy broadcasts are live on the Web as well!

Downloading of the full text is very popular for reference and translation into other languages. The captioning embedded in the videotape is also being used as a search tool, and for those folks for whom English is a second language, as a learning tool. The full text of the Sun Microsystems informative worldwide broadcasts are available at the Sunergy Archive site, as well as information on upcoming broadcasts.

RTR has provided live Internet or television captioning for developers' conferences (Be/OS), product announcements (AT&T, Sun, Atmel, etc.), sports events (Nike, PGA, Sharks, etc.), seminars (Netseminar/E.N.E.N), telethons, celebrity chats, conferences. And the list goes on and on.

Internet chats flow when realtime captioning is added. Celebrities do not feel stilted, answers don't have to be short, there is no wait while someone types in their response to fans' questions. This makes the atmosphere more relaxed for the celebrity and more enjoyable for everyone.

You will find that realtime captioning is a terrific and affordable adjunct to RealAudio AND a viable option for low bandwidth situations.

What a great way to GET THE WORD OUT! And location isn't a problem, all we require is an audio feed via telephone, radio, television, whatever. Of course, we are happy to be on site for your event if you wish.
